From taking part in a pasta-making class in Rome, to a market tour in Barcelona, a wine and cheese tasting party in Paris, or joining a chef’s table in Tuscany to sample gastronomic delicacies, guests of The Travel Corporation brands have new food-oriented experiential options thanks to a new partnership with popular food app VizEat. Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Contiki, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, Busabout and Evans Evans are taking part in the program, which offers immersive culinary experiences through 22,000 local hosts in 110 countries.
Launched in Paris in 2014, VizEat has become the world’s most popular meal sharing platform with guests being welcomed into a global network of hosts’ homes while making authentic connections with both locals and travellers. Hosts are typically trained chefs and home cooks eager to share their regional specialties and traditional cuisine along with local food knowledge with travellers and foodies from across the globe.

The immersive food experiences are available on selected trips or as optional experiences through the assistance of TravCorp travel directors and tour managers.
