The trade in Canada is always flush with bonus rewards opportunities for travel agents as suppliers seek to encourage bookings and to thank agents for their loyalty. Here is our monthly look at some of the offers that are currently available:
Collette: The tour operator’s Canada Day contest for agents continues throughout the month of July. To qualify, agents simply have to submit a photo of their hometown at www.gocollette.com/hometown and tell the Collette why they love it so much. Approved submissions will be displayed in the gallery page. Limit of one contest submission per person. Winners will be announced shortly after Aug. 9.
Adventure Canada: Through July 30, agents will receive a $100 VISA gift card for every passenger booked and confirmed (with deposit) on a 2017 Ocean Endeavour expedition with the tour operator.
Goway: The Down Under specialist has ongoing bonuses for both Australia and New Zealand. Through July 15, agents booking Virgin Australia from YVR or LAX in conjunction with an Australia land package will earn an extra $55 on their Goway Agent rewards card. Similarly, the $55 offer also applies on any New Zealand air and five-night land package booked through Goway with Fiji Airways through June 30 (or the first 50 bookings). Land packages on both offers must be a minimum of five nights.
TravelBrands: Agents booking TravelBrands on its web site travelbrandsagent.ca through Dec. 15 continue to be automatically entered for a chance to win a million Loyalty Rewards points, which can be redeemed for merchandise, travel, gift cards or be donated to multiple foundations and charities. Leading up to the grand prize, TravelBrands will also give away 100,000 Loyalty Rewards points each month. Meanwhile, every five car rentals booked through Access before June 30 will also earn every travel agent a $25 Petro Canada gift card.
