The Destination Osoyoos Development Society (Destination Osoyoos) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Scott as the organization's new Managing Director.
An experienced community economic development professional, Scott has previously held senior management positions with the Peachland Chamber of Commerce, Leduc-Nisku Economic Development Authority, Olds Institute for Community and Regional Development, Venture Kamloops, and the provincial Ministry of Small Business, Tourism, and Culture.
In her new role as Managing Director of Destination Osoyoos, and as a direct report to the Board, Scott will provide business leadership and direction for all elements of organization from a Destination Marketing, Visitor Servicing, Community and Economic Development standpoint. Offering small business support services, identifying and implementing community development initiatives, and strategically growing revenues for both the organization and the overall resort municipality / tourism sector within Destination Osoyoos' regional mandate will be among the major responsibilities she has been charged with.
