As they continue to expand their product range to present new opportunities and adventures in pristine and remote areas, Arctic Kingdom is proud to announce a new offering for their 2015 line-up, Baby Harp Seal Photo Safari.
This authentic 5 day photo safari in Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec promises to include innumerable spectacles of wonder and beauty. Participants will sail aboard an active crab-fishing vessel captained by a local fisherman to the ice pans off the islands where they will spend 3 full days on the ice, from sunrise to sunset, photographing the world and lives of baby harp seal pups. The safari will be led by Mario Cyr, a professional photographer and videographer who has spent more time photographing and filming the harp seals of the Magdalen Islands than any other notable photographer.
Available dates are from February 23-27, February 27-March 3, and March 3-7, all of which are now open to bookings. The price of $6,995 plus 13% HST includes return transfers from Îles-de-la-Madeleine Airport, one night accommodation at Auberge La Salicorne, three nights accommodation aboard the Jean Mathieu, all meals upon arrival at Auberge La Salicorne and while aboard the Jean Mathieu, and a Mustang Floater Suit for duration of stay aboard vessel.
For a glimpse into this incredible adventure, a webinar will be offered on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 1:00 pm EST by one of Arctic Kingdom's Chief Expedition Leaders, Thomas Lennartz. To register for the webinar, please visit https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/404780482. Spaces are limited so those who are interested are asked to register early.
