Air New Zealand has named Gary Soloff Director of Sales & Market Development for the airline's North American region based in El Segundo, Calif. He will oversee the region's sales and marketing efforts across all channels including corporate, leisure, groups, meetings and incentives, as well as online.
Mr Soloff joins Air New Zealand with a robust sales and marketing background in both business and commercial aviation. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Marketing and Customer Experience for American Airlines Cargo, leading a team focused on consistent customer experience at every touch point.
Mr Soloff's 18 years in the aviation industry has included sales and marketing roles with The Cessna Aircraft Company, Bombardier Aerospace and Southwest Airlines. He is a graduate of the University California, Riverside and attended the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
Air New Zealand Vice President of the Americas, UK and Europe Chris Myers says the addition of Mr Soloff will help to further extend the airline's growing reach in North America.
