The Omni Fort Worth Hotel, the Fort Worth Convention Center’s Headquarter Hotel, is scheduled to open January 2009 with 614 rooms and suites adjacent to the convention centre. The 38-storey, first class hotel boasts 29 meeting rooms, full-service fitness centre, wi-fi access, the Mokara Spa and the second home of the Kimbell Art Museum Shop. The new shop will feature art quality books, jewelry, decorative items and gifts, as well as the comprehensive Kimbell Handbook, which showcases more than 260 works of art and the museum’s exhibition catalogs.
